Linux 2.6.31 Separate Kernel Address Space (skas) patch This patch for hosting-linux (2.6.31) improves performance and security, compared to the old Traced Thread approach where processes running in the UML share the same address space from the host's point of view, causing memory inside the UML to not be protected by the memory management unit. In contrast to the current UML using skas, buggy or malicious software inside a UML running on a non-skas host could be able to read the memory of other UML processes or even the UML kernel memory. Internet Keepalive 2.0.2.6 beta for Windows 95/98/ME, does not work with WindowsXP (others not tested, may also not work with NT and 2000). Internet Keepalive was developed originally for the T-Online DSL flatrate. It solves problems like "idle-kicks" and "24hour disconnects" in a very elegant way and keeps your current IP-address as long as possible or publishes automatically your new IP. The about 16 Byte sized pings don't cause nearly any recognizable traffic - so Keepalive presents it's self as an optimal solution for flatrates limited by volume (traffic). An user-defined IP-list ensures alternation when pinging.
